Earlier this month I picked up a set of Yongnuo YN-622C ettl radio triggers. I have to say these are amazing for the price. I was a bit skeptical when purchasing them as they seemed to be offering a lot for not a lot of money but thought I'd give them a go. Damn am I glad, I am using them with Canon bodies and Canon speedlites and they worked exactly how I wanted them to, I can remotely control flash output and zoom within in the camera, they have both hot shoe and pc sync ports and they use AA batteries. I have tried them out on location and had no trouble with range 10m + with no miss fires at all.
The downsides are that the instruction manual was useless, I read the first paragraph and threw it in the bin. They don't come with any adapters which wasn't an issue for me but if you are planning on using them with studio strobes remember to order your pc sync to what ever cable. Lastly they have a clear plastic cover which scratches super easily, again not a huge issue. All in all I am moving these up to my go to radio triggers and keeping the Skyports as backups.
Same thing as above but in list form.
Great price at under $100 from Aus retailer.
Remote control of flash functions from within camera.
Reliable out side on location.
Takes double AA batteries.
Has both hot shoe and pc sync port.
Super simple and easy to use.
Manual is all but useless.
Doesn't come with cables or accessories.
